Chris + Mallary | Wedding | Indianapolis, IN

Chris + Mallary have families who know how to party! This wedding got started with a family tradition of a golf tournament and lots of refreshments! They got hitched at St. Matthew’s Catholic Church in Indianapolis and moved on the party bus to downtown at Sahms Atrium and Garden in the huge One America Tower. Annie Drake designed the scene, Gigi’s provided the cupcakes, and Shana Schutt provided the flowers. This was one of our best photobooth crowds yet! So much ~~evidence~~ fun! Julianna + Levi | Engagement | Indianapolis, IN

Yo! We me Julianna + Levi at the lovely and colorful White River State Park in the heart of Indianapolis for their engagement session. They brought along the CUTEST dogs: Mitchell and Chief! While there might be more slobber in the park than when we got there, it is still a lovely looking place. We’re looking forward to their fall wedding in beautiful Brown County, Indiana! Christine + Gavin | Wedding | Wintergreen, VA

Man, do we love Wintergreen. You might remember some of its views from Dan + Lauren’s wedding last year, and, luckily, the views were still there when we arrived for Christine + Gavin’s rehearsal dinner and wedding. Something about this place just allows people to relax, have fun, and enjoy the experience. Lovely ceremony music from the Plum Blossom String Quartet, flowers from Blue Ridge Floral Design, tasty cake from Country Confections, and really special jewelry from A Simple Kind of Fancy (the matron of honor!) adorned the day. The ceremony was sweet and beautiful but this thing kicked into high gear at the reception where E3 (members of the band Everything!) rocked this dancing crew into action. Seriously: awesome dancing. Many congrats to Gavin + Christine wherever her surprise honeymoon has taken them. Family and friends can check out the rest from the day in the client gallery.

Lori + Will | Wedding | Orkney Springs, VA

Lori + Will’s wedding in beautiful Orkney Springs, Virginia was so incredibly beautiful, laid-back, and fun! Lori grew up spending as much time as possible at the various summer camps at Shrine Mont, so it was a natural reunion site for family and friends and a great backdrop for the wedding. Night one was a super fun rehearsal dinner featuring the bluegrass band, Shenandoah Drive and complete with lawn games and a fun campfire/marshmallow roasting! Guests crashed in the hotels/homes at the camp, listened for the bell for meal times, and enjoyed hiking, boating, and relaxing. The wedding itself was great. Organized well by Rebecca, ornately decorated by NW Designs, and beautified by the ladies at looking glass. After a beautiful ceremony at the shrine featuring a Beatles-only soundtrack and a lovely cocktail hour, guests came to the hotel ballroom for tasty eats from Shaffer’s. Jaime got them all moving on the dance floor and kept it that way. Family and friends can check out all the pics in the client gallery. Many congrats to Lori + Will…it was a pleasure hanging out with you and your families for the weekend.

Janelle + Chris | Engagement | Bloomington, IN

We were thrilled to shoot Janelle + Chris’ engagement session, because, like us, they are a tall and small! Janelle is a peppy vintage thrifter who runs a hip rental and design business, Re:Find Joy! Because she’s super into vintage accoutrements, we met up at A.Z. Vintage where we were all treated like royalty. Bloomingtoners should surely check it out. You might remember some of A.Z.’s awesome merch from this session before moving to her new location. Chris is an avid runner and spends many days on Bloomington’s B-Line trail. We love the B-Line and you’ve seen it here before, but, there’s always new nooks and crannies to explore. We’re delighted for these two and wish them all the best. Congrats Janelle + Chris!
