What a treat to get to be back in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains for Dan and Lauren’s wedding at Wintergreen Resort. We’ll have lots to show from this gorgeous wedding. One of our all time favorites, for sure! Stick around.

We’re always excited to get back to Virginia from Indiana to see friends and family but this trip was even more exciting since we got to be a part of Yen and Jason’s amazing wedding. In the morning, Yen’s bridesmaids hit up the studio to get all fancied up while Yen had lots of personal attention by Faye, Cindy, and Tweety while the dudes had a bit of a party in their hotel rooms. Their wedding brought together a handsome crowd of people who celebrated with the couple at James Madison University’s Festival Ballroom. There were so many colorful and beautiful details with personal touches including several Chinese elements: most notably the Chinese Lion, music, and martial arts performed at the reception by the Wong association. Naomi Hill coordinated the day, Christie Ligon designed the bridesmaid dresses, and Aly Sawi and PostNet designed the invitations and programs. Bishop Earley Dillard and Elder Travell Travis presided over the beautiful ceremony where the Skyline Tent Company had helped to transform a portion of the ballroom into a dramatically-lit space. We had a blast meeting their friends and family and wish them all the best. Here are just a few of our favorite moments that help to tell the story but family and friends can check out the rest of the pics in the client gallery. Congrats you two!

What a stunning venue and B&G, you have nailed this….love the shot of the groom in sunglasses!
The word that comes to mind is ‘epic’ for this session!
Love the shots of the men getting ready, and that is a beautiful ring shot!
The bridal party looks like they were a blast. What a beautiful wedding!
Beautiful wedding and photography! The groom shot and the one of them walking from aisle are amazing.
So much awesomeness! The groom clicking his heels is adorable. The last shot of the shadows is a piece of art. And the shot of the bridal party from underneath the dragon is off the charts amazing.

We were thrilled to get back to our old stomping grounds in Harrisonburg, Virginia to photograph Yen and Jason’s amazing wedding at James Madison University. Exciting moments captivated guests (like this tiny gentleman) all day long. Lions, Dukes, and Hokies, oh my! We’ll have much more to show from their wedding later in the week, so stick around! Congrats Yen + Jason!

That is really a great shot! How fun. Also, I love the brides flowery dress.
Great work Tall and Small!
We met up with Ashley and Wes at the beautiful Spring Mill State Park in Mitchell, a short jaunt from Bloomington, to photograph their engagement session. Complete with a restored pioneer village and a cozy Inn, the park has lots to see and do and will be an awesome spot for their wedding next Spring. Just watch your ankles if you’re walking in the water! But, we had their dogs to keep us safe so we weren’t afraid (well, Small was afraid). Friends and family can hit up the couple to see more pics in the client gallery. Congrats, Ashley and Wes. We’ll see you soon!
